EAKIN PARK

Leroy Eakin was the first to donate parkland to Fairfax county. Where fairfax county had to establish the Fairfax County Park Authority to receive the initial gift of 14 Acres in 1951. Additional acreage donations were made over the years which is now over 140 acres of Park land in Annadale & Fairfax.

My Eakin also donated monies that allowed for the development of the parkland that included;
